YCPA 2009 best wishes |
|
Dear Friends,
The year of 2009 was a successful year for YCPA. While the world was hit by an important economic turmoil, YCPA had managed the situation carefully and was able to remain very active in the business and social community. In fact, historically speaking, the year of 2009 was the best year for YCPA in terms of member recruitment and visibility.
Always acting as a non profit organization, the new executive team of YCPA divided the activity of YCPA in four sections: YCPA professional, YCPA business, YCPA social and cultural, and YCPA international. >>> |

The Newtown in the heart of downtown Montreal was crowded with YCPA existing members and new members who joined for a toast for the begining of the holiday season. Under a joyful ambiance, friendly exchanges, new discovery and worthwhile networking between participants made the YCPA 2009 Christmas cocktail another successful story.

To be vaccinated or not?
Some panic. Others hesitate. The rumors travel. People question whether the vaccination is a complot to exterminate part of the population to benefit the most powerful. Is it a conspiracy between pharmaceutical companies and certain politicians, a scheme to redirect the focus on the actual financial crises? Is it a way to make the population more dependent on vaccination? A true paranoia!>>> |

Interchamber Soccer Tournament
YCPA won the gold medal!
We are delighted to inform you that the very first Soccer Tournament has been a genuine success! Subsequent to the kick-off shot from Ms. Vera Danyluck, the mayor of the borough of Mont-Royal, the YCPA's team has surprised everyone by winning the tournament. The latter has stolen the first rank before a crowd of no less than 150 guests, bathed in an amicable, cheerful, and welcoming atmosphere.
All teams from the five chambers of commerce and associations gave their best performance. The YCPA team started modestly with two draws and one win. Before the finale, while our opponent team were celebrating their leading position and presumed their victory, the YCPA team was not intimidated. Instead, our captain calmly and wisely crafted offensive and defensive tactics with our players. The effort, the patience, and the perseverance have proved their worth when a spectacular head shot scored and carried us to victory. Hence, the YCPA team have been bestowed the gold medal for the tournament.
YCPA would like to express sincere gratitude to JCCH for organizing this tournament and to all the other teams who participated. This was an occasion for YCPA to meet young professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs from other communities to extend our network and contact. We understand that one can be a talent, but without a network, talent cannot grow.
Thank you Inkjetgo for your support.
