Asian Heritage Month
On December 2001, Senator Vivienne Poy introduced a Motion to the Canadian Senate to designate May as the celebration month of the rich Asian Heritage in Canada. Accordingly, in May 2002, the Canadian Government officially recognized May as the Asian Heritage Month in Canada.
